Erjavčeva Mountain Hut (Slovenian: Erjavčeva koča) is an idyllic mountain hut located just before the summit of the Vršič mountain pass on the southern slope of Mala Mojstrovka in the Julian Alps. The surroundings of the refuge offer spectacular views of the surrounding peaks, such as Prisojnik / Prisank, Razor, Jalovec, Špik, Škrlatica, the second-high mountain in Slovenia, and many others. It is a popular stopover for hikers and travellers worldwide who climb, admire the surrounding peaks, or explore the magnificent Triglav National Park‘s marvellous nature.

The refuge is less than 10 kilometres from Kranjska Gora. Kranjska Gora is a picturesque Alpine town known for its ski resort, which offers many winter sports and activities. Summer is a paradise for hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. The Trenta Valley, located just 13 kilometres from the refuge, is a haven of untouched nature with numerous hiking trails, waterfalls and crystal-clear rivers. The source of the Soča River is only 11 kilometres from Erjavčeva koča at Vršič. The Soča River, the jewel of the valley, is famous for its turquoise colour and offers exciting opportunities for water sports such as rafting, kayaking and fishing. These destinations in the Julian Alps of Slovenia are a true paradise for nature lovers and active relaxation in all seasons.
