Prisank, also known as Prisojnik, is a 2547 m high mountain above the valleys of Mlinarica, Krnica, and Suha Pišnica. From the summit, where a registration box with a stamp is located, there is a beautiful view of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps.

About the hike to Prisojnik – Prisank
The mountain with two names between Gorenjska and Primorska, thanks to the Vršič Mountain Pass road, is one of the more visited, but it should not be taken lightly as none of the numerous marked paths are pretty easy. We prefer the dramatic, well-secured Kopiščarjeva pot, which waves to the Ajdovska deklica, where one takes off the backpack while squeezing through the famous “preduh” and cunningly traverses the mighty Prednje okno onto the summit ridge. If we descend through the secured path through Zadnje okno into Mlinarica and back to Vršič, we indulge in a high-mountain circuit that is hard to match in our mountains.
