Are we allowed to pick herbs in the park?
Are we allowed to pick herbs in the park?
The TNP Act does not prohibit picking herbs and mushrooms in the area of the Park as long as it does not exceed one’s personal needs. If you plan to pick herbs or mushrooms for commercial purposes, however, you will need the consent of the TNP managing authority.
From the local people who live in the national park, we ask you to respect nature and behave respectfully. We must live with nature not only on our holidays but our whole life. Like you, if you think about it.
